The muscle and squat snatch + pyramid finish

A strength + technique bias session working through the muscle and the squat snatch with strict upper body pulling. A finisher with assault bike sprints will get you blowing, push the pace on this one.

Reminders:
  • On the muscle snatch we are really trying to make the emphasis on the start position and driving off the floor with your legs.
  • Keeping the bar close to the body and also keeping the arms straight for as long as possible which will translate into the squat snatch well.
  • Build up to a medium weight for 2 squat snatch's before starting your 5 rounds.
  • Work on the dropping under the bar as fast as you can into the bottom position of the catch with fully locked out elbows.
  • The 2 pulling gymnastics accessories are to be made as hard but doable as possible for your level.
  • On the finisher use the right weight and ensure you are squatting to depth if you're doing C2B make sure every rep is a rep.
