Partner Workouts

A strength bias session with a push-pull body-building style to start. Then a strength piece with the barbell and a strict pull-up workout. Then a partner WOD to finish with power cleans and HSPU.

Reminders:
  • Ensure part 1 is done with controlled reps and do not rush through the reps.
  • Part 2 is a strict press to a push press, ensure with the strict press you are locking out the knees and only using your upper body to press out.
  • Once you hit 3 reps or fail a strict press you then complete 3 push press which is a drive from the squat position with the barbell in the front rack. Then in 1 fluid motion you will squat out of the bottom and drive the barbell above your head to full lockout.
  • Part 3 is a partner workout, going 1 for 1 on power cleans ascending in weight. Then split up the reps on the HSPU. Also split up the cals on the rower.
  • Row hard and push each other to get a good time.
